Vegetable Soup-How to Peel Garlic in a Flash
My favourite Phrase 'Waste Not, Want Not'. came to mind
Peel and chop
Just heat a tablespoon of oil and throw in the prepared vegetables
Season with a tablespoon of Vegeta and some freshly ground black pepper
Cover with water
Bring to the boil
Simmer till the vege are tender
Take half of the soup and blend
Return to the pot, stir and serve
Great quick lunch.
Now I have an excellent hint
Normally I cut the root end off and bash it
The skin just comes off.
BUT here is a really easy way and you are left with an un-bashed clove of garlic.
Just pop the garlic into the Microwave
Zap for 10-12 seconds
Onto the bench and the skin just slides off
